bringinghomethemilk.com is the virtual home of Gina Marie Buccolo, IBCLC.  I am an international board certified lactation consultant practicing in the Los Angeles area.  On the lactation consulting tab you can find information on the consulting services I offer.  I also teach classes to both large groups and on a small group or individual basis.

I provide sensitive, evidence-based healthcare to each family that I work with and I have a particular passion for working with complex cases and non traditional families.  I have a broad background encompassing work as a hospital based IBCLC, telehealth IBCLC, private practice IBCLC, developing maternal child health policy, project managing, and as an educator.  Lactation consulting is a second career for me; when my children were born I was an aerospace engineer and breastfeeding/working/pumping/traveling mother trying to manage it all.  I have great empathy for the challenges that new parents are going through. I am currently a mother of three teenagers.  When I’m not helping parents feed their babies or taking care of my own children, I can be found in the ballet studio where I still put on my pointe shoes nearly every day.
